Katherine Pickering Antonova is Associate Professor of History at Queens College, CUNY. She is the author of The Essential Guide to Writing History Essays (Oxford University Press, 2020) and An Ordinary Marriage: The World of a Gentry Family in Provincial Russia (Oxford University Press, 2013). She is currently working on a book about how to write academic peer reviews with Jennifer L. Foray (Purdue University) as well as on her next monograph, tentatively titled Holy Men, Troublesome Women: Policing Faith and Transforming Elites in Russia after Napoleon.
